  5. This file explains about the shareware registration for Becky!.

  7. Becky! is a shareware: distribution and trial are free of charge.
  8. If you want to continue to use this software, please pay for it.
  9. Trial period is up to 30 days.

  13. - You will not see the shareware notification dialog any more.

  15. - You will be notified the major version up of Becky! via E-mail.

  17. - You will be qualified to upgrade Becky! without any additional fee

  21.   software and shareware, of RIM-Arts.

  27.   Without an E-mail address, you will not receive a registration pass code.

  39.   Becky! is programmed to work with most of machines. But sometimes it
  40.   might not work well for some reasons; the problem of your modem driver,
  41.   mail server's implementation of your Internet provider, some conflict with
  42.   your system environment, etc.
  43.   PLEASE MAKE SURE BECKY! WORKS FINE ON YOUR MACHINE AND WITH YOUR INTERNET
  44.   PROVIDER BEFORE YOU SEND MONEY.
  45.   Of course, we will do the best to fix the problem if you report to us.
  46.   But your registration is not refundable in any way.

  65. Once your payment is processed, it is not refundable even if you specified
  66. inappropriate number of licenses.

  85. Therefore, if you want 18 licenses, it is not a good idea to purchase
  86. exactly 18. Because 18 is greater than 15 but less than 20, so
  87. $25 unit price is applied. It is paradoxical but total amount
  88. is $450 which is more expensive than $400 for 20 licenses!
  89. Selecting the minimum number is most reasonable for price.

  94. - Run REGISTER.EXE. (REGISTER.EXE is included in the Becky!'s package.)
  95.   You can also run REGISTER.EXE from the startup dialog clicking
  96.   "Order To Kagi" button.

  98. - Fill out the information such as your name, E-mail address, number of
  99.   licenses you are purchasing, and payment method.
  100.   For more details, see REGISTER.HLP.

  102. - Send the output of REGISTER.EXE to Kagi (sales@kagi.com).
  103.   via E-mail, postal mail or fax.
  104.   Please do NOT send it to me directly.
  105.   If you want to use Becky! to send the mail, please do NOT check "Use
  106.   MAPI enabled mailer" option. Because Becky! doesn't support MAPI currently.

  108. - You will receive a confirmation of the payment and a registration pass
  109.   code via E-mail. Generally, It takes less than a week to receive it.
  110.   Fax order takes a few days more.
  111.   Long weekend, heavy network traffic, etc., may cause a several days
  112.   delay.

  118.   You can also register from "User Registration" in the "Help" menu.
